ABOUT ME

My name is Candace Dupps, and I have over 7 years of experience in the travel industry. In June 2021, I became an Independent Travel Advisor affiliated with Travel Experts, Inc., which is how Louisville Outbound was born.

I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with Bachelor's Degrees in Communication and German Studies, I moved to Germany and lived in Garmisch-Partenkirchen from 2014-2015. This is where I truly found my passion for travel. This is also where I met my fiance, Patrick, who I discovered was from Louisville only an hour and a half away from my home.

We spent over a year together in Germany, and decided to leave in the summer of 2015. His family hosted a Welcome Home party for us, which is where a family member recommended applying to a local travel agency. We decided to officially move to Louisville after I was offered the job. Since then, I have fallen in love with the city and small-town feel of Louisville, and it's nice to be close to home. We love supporting all the local businesses, and we're huge LCFC and Racing Louisville fans. When I'm not busy working in travel or traveling, I love spending time with our families, friends, and pets. We also love live music, hiking, biking, and kayaking, so you'll often see us at the Waterfront, the Parklands, or a lake nearby.

Travel is personal, so just as I've shared some of my hobbies and interests, I look forward to getting to know my clients' and their hobbies and interests.
