Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Louisville Outbound?

Louisville Outbound is a full-service travel agency based in Louisville, KY, owned by Candace, a luxury travel specialist with 10+ years of experience creating unforgettable trips. We’re an independent affiliate of Travel Experts, Inc., a proud Virtuoso member, specializing in luxury travel. Our physical office is available by appointment only, so we can give each client our full attention. Read more on our Meet The Team page.

Why should I book with you instead of online?

Booking online might be quick, but it often leaves you on your own if something goes wrong. With us, you get personalized planning, expert guidance, and a real advocate before, during, and after your trip. Plus, our industry relationships often unlock perks and experiences you won’t find online.

Do you charge a fee?

Yes. We charge a travel planning fee, which will depend on the type of trip you’re inquiring about. We will discuss this in more detail in our initial consultation to ensure there are no surprises along the way. These fees ensure mutual commitment and allow us to dedicate the time, expertise, and resources needed to ensure every detail of your travel is handled with care.

Do I need to come into your office?

Not necessarily! A lot of our clients work with us virtually by phone, email, or video call. However, we do have a physical office in Louisville that’s open by appointment only for clients who prefer to meet in person.

Address:

2908 Brownsboro Rd. Suite 110

Louisville, KY, 40206

What makes us different ?

We are full-time professional travel advisors, dedicated to keeping our knowledge and skills sharp through extensive and ongoing training. We regularly participate in destination and supplier trainings and meet with our travel partners to stay up to date on the latest offerings and experiences.

Our founder, Candace, has over 10 years of experience as a travel advisor and holds professional designations including CTA (Certified Travel Associate) and CTC (Certified Travel Counselor) from The Travel Institute. She also completed the VTA (Verified Travel Advisor) training through ASTA.

Emma, who originally started as Candace’s admin assistant and quickly became a travel advisor, is currently pursuing her CTA certification and is committed to the same high level of professionalism and training.
